Jim Cooper was on Ralph Bristol's radio show (FM 99.7) yesterday morning. I missed most of it but did listen to the last few minutes. Cooper said that he is against the public option and will only support a deficit-neutral bill. Wish I had heard more of the interview.

Interesting tidbit.... Did you know that WH has failed to fill about 57% of it's top positions (that need to be approved by Congress) while, instead, hiring about 45 Czars that are not accountable to the people? They're blaming the 'vetting' process but could it be that the WH is more interested in bypassing Congress? ...... Do yourself a favor and watch Glenn Beck this week. He had an incredible story yesterday about Van Jones, the self-avowed Communist now-Obama-Green-Czar. If you aren't already informed about the background of some of Obama's Czars, you need to be. The truth will shock you. (FOX at 4pm) Here is the NYT's take on the vetting process (here) but don't expect them to take a hard look at the big picture.
