Daily Update

It's Monday again and the House is out of session! YESSSSSS!! Unfortunately, the Senate will be in session for one more week so there is still time for additional damage to our liberty and economy.

Although the House has voted to appropriate an additional $2 Billion for the ridiculous 'Cash for Clunkers' program, the Senate has yet to vote on it. (Read here.) This has caused concern and confusion among many car dealerships (here). Just imagine how wonderful it will be when our government controls our health care! Need your gall bladder removed, cancer surgery, hip replacement? Oops...out of money and Congress is on vacation. Oh well, your surgery will just have to wait.! Ahhhh... the future! (By the way, Sen. Chuck Schumer wants to add BILLIONS more to this program! Can you spell V-O-T-E-S?)

2 Obama officials: No guarantee taxes won't go up
Are you prepared to speak out against government-controlled, socialized medicine during the August Congressional Recess? If you're not, then please don't complain when you have to wait three years to be assigned a primary care physician under the socialized plan or when you are no longer eligible for an MRI because you're over 65 years of age. If attending a rally or protest puts you outside of your comfort zone, I understand because I'm the same way. But now is the time to speak out before the country that our forefathers envisioned is gone. Even if you don't want to speak out, please JUST ATTEND TO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR THE CAUSE!! Please be prepared to attend a town hall meeting if your Representative holds them. There are also "Recess Rallies" being scheduled all around the country for August 22 to rally against the government health care plan.....more about that later!!!

Are any of you located in the Smith/Wilson County area, interested in attending rallies but just don't want to go by yourself? If so, please email me.
